As the story progresses, more of those questions are answered, but mostly at the price of new questions. The plot is something quite surrounded with mystery, you see, when the Demon King knows that the last Demon King was defeated by the Hero, he obviously, tries to find out a way to stop the Hero from being summoned, which includes "trying to be friendly" as an nation from another continent, while at the same time risking being labeled as the source of all Evil. ![]() more> Because the Demon King is trying to prevent a war from breaking out, thus, he and his nation has to run under a certain level of civility, and so the story runs more on the relationship between characters representing different factions, rather than something like romance (it's there, but I can't say there is plenty). ![]() So, why isn't action the main focus on the story?. I can't say there is much, but don't get me wrong, as I initially said, this is not a "first person story", so although it doesn't focus so much in the characters, the plot does runs quite fast. Although in regards to character development. Although there is some action, it's not the main focus, instead dealing more with national and racial relationships and politics. This is a very plot driven story, properly narrated instead of the usual "everything is first person".
